About the Founder – JP
Alpha traces its roots to a Stellenbosch high-school classroom, where a 15 year old JP sketched his first designs after realising that what you wear can quietly shape how you feel. Frustrated by tees that looked the part but never quite delivered on confidence, he printed his own with the simple phrase “Inspired by the fear of being average.”
Rather than loud logos or hype, each Alpha piece carries a subtle reminder: true confidence often starts with the small comforts in your day. Clean cuts, thoughtful details and understated graphics grew from those classroom experiments, all in service of helping others step into their routines with steadier minds and quieter self-belief.
